John Merlino was born and raised in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, New York where he attended Xaverian High School. He received his undergraduate degree from St. John's University in 1992. John attended Nova Law School in Florida and City University of New York Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1998. He was admitted to practice in New York State and Federal Court - Eastern District.
Prior to joining Brecher Fishman in 2002, John practiced in State and Federal Criminal Court handling various criminal defense matters as well as Surrogate's Court where he handled sophisticated Wills, Trusts and Estates.
John Merlino became a Partner with our Firm in 2008; his current areas of practice are with our Commercial and Workers' Compensation Departments.
